We cycled through several ideas until the agency came up with this one. We needed something special, and they nailed it. That's the beauty of working on the client side with amazing creative talent. You can tell them what you want and need without really knowing exactly what it looks like... and they deliver!
The spot took a week to film - we flew to Vancouver to do it. Was a crazy, hectic week, and I learned a lot.
We produced radio spots from the music and had customers calling in, asking for it. It was a funny, quirky little tune set to Carol of the Bells, but it made the name memorable. This was pre-Google days, so site recall was very important. We had to make a memorable spot and cut through the clutter, and most of all, they had to remember how to find us on the web!
The launch campaign included TV, radio, catalog, print, and online advertising. Working directly with publishers helped us bundle media buys. For a startup company, we had to make a big impact fast.
For a start-up company running a million miles an hour with limited resources, I'm really proud of the work we were able to pull together.
The amazing Joni Blymire created the Abby Marketing logo. She is an excellent graphic designer - incredibly talented and fantastic to work with!
